How far you'll travel, touring, and the map

1. Open your band on the Bands page.
2. Put your town in Based in (town, state), like Bellingham, WA.
3. Under How far you'll travel, type the miles you'll go for a local gig. The map draws a circle showing how far that reaches.
4. Tick We tour if you do, and add where in Where you tour.
5. Press Save.

Each gig page and the Venues list then show how far the venue is from home. A venue past your miles is marked in red, so you can decide if it's worth the drive. Distances are straight-line ("as the crow flies"); the road is usually a little longer.

Players see the distance on their offer, and your band card shows how far you travel and whether you tour. GLAR knows US towns of about 1,000 people or more; if yours isn't found, use the nearest larger town.
